supplier of advanced Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) energy
storage solutions, today announced it has been registered
to the International Standard ISO 9001:2000 and TL 9000.
Cobasys is now among an elite group of battery companies
to have met the demanding standards for TL 9000 certification
which has become a prerequisite to supply major telecommunications
equipment and service providers. This represents the
third quality certification within one year for Cobasys.
The company previously announced certification to ISO/TS
16949 which is the most advanced quality standard required
to supply the automotive industry. Registration to ISO-17025
which certifies testing and calibration labs was achieved
this October.
